LCSW Supervision

I currently reside in the Galveston/Harris County area. I am not currently accepting supervisees for the 2025 - 2026 year but will be available in Summer 2026. I offer individual and group supervision. Check back often for updates.

The Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council sets the requirements for LCSW clinical supervision in Texas. You need to complete 100 total hours of supervision with your approved supervisor in no less than 24 months and no longer than 48 months. You are also required to have 3000 total work hours before you can take your exam.

The cost of clinical supervision varies by therapist. The average cost of supervision in the Galveston/Harris County area is $150 an hour. That amounts to a whopping $15,000 for the completion of the 100 hours required by the board to earn your LCSW. With that being said, I do not believe supervision should be unattainable. 

My current cost for 1 hour of individual supervision is $100 and 1 hour of group supervision is $50. I also accept 4 students each year on a sliding scale. I know the struggles of trying to obtain supervision and I am not here to add to the struggle. I want to be the solution, not the problem.

Jurisprudence Exam: This exam is required for upgrading from LMSW to LCSW.

Clinical Supervision Verification Form: This form is used to verify clinical supervision has been completed. This will be completed with you and I when you decide you'd like my supervision services.
